Back to Bedtime Stories with Moomin and Hope and Homes for Children
We're thrilled to be supporting Hope and Homes for Children with their Back to Bedtime Stories campaign, and we'd love your help! Like us, they believe that every child deserves the love, safety and connection of a family. Someone to read them a bedtime story. That's why we're getting behind this magical fundraising day for primary schools and nurseries, where children come to school or nursery in their pyjamas, enjoy Moomin-inspired activities and raise money to help more children get Back to Family.
How it works
Taking part is easy. Simply choose a day from October onwards that suits your school or nursery. Invite children to wear their pyjamas, enjoy our Moomin-inspired activities and resources, and ask families to donate whatever they can. We'll provide everything you need to make your Back to Bedtime Stories event a success.
What's included
From October, you'll receive:
-
Dedicated fundraising support from the friendly team at Hope and Homes for Children
-
A free fundraising guide packed full of ideas
-
Moomin-inspired activities and resources to use on the day
-
A certificate to celebrate taking part
-
A free Moomin book for the first 100 schools and nurseries to register (gifted by Penguin)
-
Entry into a prize draw to win a bundle of Moomin goodies
Why it matters
Right now, over 5.4 million children around the world are living in orphanages even though more than 80% of them are not orphans. They have families who could care for them with the right support. Hope and Homes for Children works with families, communities and governments to close orphanages for good and bring children Back to Family. By taking part in Back to Bedtime Stories, your school will help make that happen.
Register your school or nursery today and pick a date that suits you from the 15th October 2026 onwards. You'll be sent everything you need to make your Back to Bedtime Stories event a success.
